This Privacy Policy explains how JunoReel ("JunoReel", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use the JunoReel platform.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using JunoReel, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
Proof of Concept Status
JunoReel is currently provided as a proof-of-concept platform for testing, evaluation, development, and feedback purposes.
The platform is not a production-grade or mission-critical service. Features, functionality, infrastructure, and related data practices may change as the Service evolves.
Because the platform is currently a proof of concept, data, content, accounts, communications, and other information may be modified, deleted, lost, or become temporarily or permanently unavailable.
You should maintain your own copies of information that you consider important.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account Registration:
- Username
- Email address
- Password or authentication credentials
- Full name, if provided
- Profile image or avatar, if provided
- Social media links, if provided
Content You Create:
- Reels, videos, titles, descriptions, and thumbnails
- Channel names and descriptions
- Comments and feedback on reels
- Other content you voluntarily submit to the platform
- Search queries where applicable and where the relevant consent is provided
Bookings and Sessions:
Where these features are available during the proof-of-concept period, we may process:
- Calendar availability provided by creators
- Booking details
- Session details
- Pricing information
- Attendee information
- Meeting links where you authorize or provide them
Communications:
- Support tickets and feedback
- Survey responses
- Messages or other communications between users where the platform provides such functionality
1.2 Payment and Billing Information
Payment processing and creator payouts are currently disabled across JunoReel.
We do not currently collect payment-processor onboarding information through the application while this payments-disabled status remains in effect.
If payment functionality is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant processing.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data:
We may collect information such as:
- Pages or reels viewed
- Time spent using the Service
- Links clicked
- Device type
- Operating system
- Browser information
- IP address or a protected representation of the IP address
- Approximate location derived from IP address
We may use this information for security, service operation, analytics, fraud prevention, and improvement of the platform, subject to applicable law.
1.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use:
- Session cookies required for authentication
- Security and CSRF tokens
- Preference cookies for settings such as theme or language
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site behavioral advertising.
You may manage available cookie and privacy preferences through the settings provided by the Service.
1.5 Information from Third-Party Authentication Providers
If you sign in using a third-party provider such as Google or LinkedIn, we may receive information made available by that provider, such as:
- Email address
- Name
- Profile picture
- Provider user identifier
We do not intentionally access your contacts, private messages, private posts, or other private provider data that is not required for authentication.

- Provide booking and session functionality where available

- Maintain and secure the platform

We do not sell personal data.

Payment infrastructure is not currently processing payment or payout onboarding information because payments are disabled.
We do not:
- sell personal data;
- provide personal data to advertisers for behavioral advertising without an appropriate legal basis and, where required, consent;
- intentionally share your password with third parties.
We may disclose information where required by law, legal process, court order, or other valid legal request.
5. User-to-User Information
JunoReel allows users to interact with one another.
Information that you voluntarily provide directly to another user may be accessible to that user and may be outside JunoReel's control after disclosure.
Examples may include information shared through:
- comments;
- feedback;
- messages;
- sessions;
- meetings;
- creator interactions; or
- other user-to-user communications.
JunoReel does not guarantee that information voluntarily disclosed by one user to another will remain confidential.
Users should not share passwords, authentication credentials, financial account information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information with other users.
This does not remove or limit JunoReel's obligations concerning personal data that JunoReel itself collects and processes.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies primarily for authentication, security, preferences, and operation of the Service.

JunoReel uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data.

- encryption of stored data where supported by the relevant infrastructure;
- password hashing;
- secure authentication mechanisms;
- HttpOnly and Secure session cookies where applicable;
- access controls;
- security monitoring;
- audit logging; and
- measures designed to detect and prevent unauthorized access.
No system is completely secure.
Because JunoReel is currently a proof-of-concept platform, we cannot guarantee that the Service or stored data will remain continuously available or completely secure.
If you believe your account or personal data may have been compromised, contact us promptly.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by applicable law.
Current target retention periods may include:

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data.

Right to Rectification
You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Right to Erasure
You may request deletion of personal data where applicable.
Some information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.

You may have the right to request restriction of certain processing.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

10. Children's Privacy
JunoReel is not intended for users under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 in circumstances where such collection is not permitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Users between 13 and 18 may use JunoReel only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
11. Third-Party Services
JunoReel uses third-party providers for functions such as authentication, hosting, storage, communications, monitoring, and security.
These providers may process personal data on our behalf or independently, depending on their role and applicable agreements.
Third-party services may have their own privacy policies and terms.
12. International Data Transfers
JunoReel and its service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use appropriate mechanisms, which may include Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized safeguards.

Where notification is legally required, we will notify the relevant supervisory authorities and/or affected individuals within the time periods required by applicable law.

- recommended steps for affected individuals.

We may update this Privacy Policy as JunoReel develops.
The "Last Updated" date identifies the most recent version.
Where changes materially affect how we process personal data, we may provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law.
