Stars and levels
Stars are JunoReel's points, not money. A teacher's lifetime Stars set their level, and spending Stars never lowers it.
Learners
Earn a Star the first time you rate a lesson
Spend Stars to unlock a teacher's forum. The teacher sets the price, 10 Stars unless they change it, and you pay once
Teachers
Ratings of your reels, up to 5 Stars from each learner
Forum unlocks: the Stars learners spend come to you
Daily quests: 30 for publishing a reel, 10 for opening a session slot, 100 for completing a booked session, 20 for sharing your page
Teacher levels. A higher level means a lower platform fee on paid lessons.

Questions
What is JunoReel?
The social network for learning: short educational videos from teachers and creators, with questions, feedback, forums, and live 1-on-1 or group lessons.
How is JunoReel different from other video apps?
Most video apps are built to hold your attention. JunoReel is built to help you learn: short lessons, feedback on what actually helped, and a path to a real teacher.
What can I learn on JunoReel?
Anything a teacher can explain: school subjects, programming and IT, languages, exam prep, music, yoga and more.
How much does JunoReel cost?
Creating an account is free. Teachers set their own price for each lesson, and creators choose a Free, Guide or Mentor plan. Payments are not switched on yet: today nobody is charged for a lesson, a plan or a subscription, and prices are shown and recorded so everyone knows the terms.
How do lesson requests work?
Describe what you want to learn, the lesson length and format, and when you are free. Teachers send offers with the times they can teach, and you accept the one that suits you.
How do I book a live lesson?
Pick a time from a teacher's availability. The teacher confirms it, or it is confirmed at once if they accept bookings automatically. You get a reminder before it starts, join the video lesson in your browser, and rate it afterwards.
What are Stars?
JunoReel's points, not money. Learners earn a Star the first time they rate a lesson and can spend Stars to unlock a teacher's forum. Teachers earn Stars from ratings and their teaching, which builds their reputation and level.
How does JunoReel keep content educational?
Teachers confirm that what they publish is educational, both when they become a creator and on every upload. Learners rate every lesson, and anyone can report one that is not.
Who can teach on JunoReel?
Anyone with an account can become a creator by agreeing to publish educational content only. Then open a channel, publish short lessons and set the times learners can book you.
How do learners find me?
Through your short lessons in the feed, search and topics, through the lesson requests you answer, and through your availability link, which you can share anywhere.
