Delete your JunoReel data

Delete individual content and keep your account

You can remove the content listed below without deleting your JunoReel account. These instructions are public; sign in to the account that owns the content when you open a management page or use the app.

You can use the browser links below even if you no longer have the app installed. If an Android browser offers the app download page, choose Continue in browser. Review each confirmation carefully before deleting.

Delete a reel you uploaded

  1. Sign in with your creator account.
  2. Open Creator Studio → Content → Reels. In the Android app, open Studio, then Content and Reels.
  3. Find the reel. On the web, open its Actions menu and choose Delete. In the app, use the reel's Delete control.
  4. Check that you selected the correct reel, then confirm deletion.

Making a reel private or unlisted changes who can see it; use Delete to remove it.

Delete a forum topic or reply you wrote

  1. Open Community → Forums in JunoReel and enter the relevant forum.
  2. Open the topic containing your content.
  3. For your topic, use its Delete control (the trash icon in the app). For your reply, use Delete beside that reply.
  4. Confirm the deletion. Deleting a topic also removes its replies. Deleting just your reply leaves other replies in place.

You need access to the forum to use its deletion controls. Forum owners also have moderation controls; use the controls on your own content when following these instructions.

Delete a lesson request you posted

  1. Open Lesson Requests → My requests. In the Android app, open Lesson requests and choose Mine.
  2. Open your request and choose Delete.
  3. Confirm deletion when prompted. Closing a request is a different action and does not delete it.

Deleting a request also removes its offers. It does not cancel a lesson that was separately booked.

What deletion removes and what is retained

These controls remove the selected content from normal JunoReel views and delete its active content record. Uploaded media can remain in storage until cleanup succeeds, and cached copies or related operational records may remain. Deletion does not recall copies that other people have independently saved or shared outside JunoReel.

  • Your account, sign-in details and other content remain unless you separately edit or delete them.
  • JunoReel does not currently provide a separate control to clear your viewing history while keeping your account.
  • Deleting content does not erase the Stars transaction ledger. Its transaction records are retained permanently; account deletion clears learner attribution and replaces creator attribution with a protected identifier.
  • Security, audit and deletion records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations and dispute resolution. Retained records can include protected identifiers; they are not all anonymous.
  • Backup copies and third-party operational records follow the applicable backup rotation, provider retention and legal requirements. There is no single guaranteed deadline for deletion from every backup or provider.

See our Privacy Policy for the wider data-retention criteria and privacy rights.

Delete your account instead

To close your account, sign in and open Settings → Privacy & Data, then choose Delete Account. Complete the identity check, type DELETE MY ACCOUNT, and review the final confirmation before selecting Delete Account Now.

Account deletion is separate from the individual-content controls above and is subject to the retention limits described here and in the Privacy Policy.
